Cycling for helping and greeting Corona Warriors

A cyclist when remains a philanthropist often finds new reasons for cycling.  Solo adventure cyclist Muraly TV from Bengaluru celebrated his 52nd Birthday on 14th May with his bicycle by greeting and honouring a few Corona Warriors with ‘Food Kits’, flowers and ‘Thanks Giving Letters’.  Mr. Jayatheertha, working with Menzies Aviation Bobba at Bengaluru International Airport organized assembly of Municipal Corporation’s housekeeping staffs along with Mrs. Naga Jyothi, staff nurse at Yelahanka hospital.

“I express my sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all the Corona Warriors for their selfless and appreciable job, performed under risk, strain and stress to save lives and support the helpless.  You showed immense strength and tolerance keeping aside all your personal worries for saving lives.  You were out on the roads or in the hospitals or at the emergency spots, hours together working hard, when others were safe at their homes” Muraly’s words and emotions touched many on the way.  The ladies and spectators gave warm welcome to Muraly and expressed their happiness and gratitude on receipt of the food kits and gifts.

Muraly sweated out under the hot sun by pedaling for many kilometers with heavy luggage on the bicycle on a day which otherwise anyone would have preferred to relax and party with family and friends.  “Today’s ride reminded me the painful ordeals of migrant labours all over the country who walked or cycled hundreds of kilometers with luggage with hardly any food or even without food” Muraly said.

Muraly has done 16 Solo Adventure Inter-State Cycling Missions for various Social Causes from 2003 to 2019.
