International United Educationist Fraternity (IUEF), as part of their Stree Shakti Samman 2020, awarded Chameli Karmakar of Pune, Maharashtra with the title 'IUEF Stree Shakti Combatant 2020’.  Chameli Karmakar received the award in the category of 'Social Work: Daughter of the Soil'.  Hundreds of women were nominated for various titles from different walks of life for their Service to Society.  Contestant Number 131, Chameli Karmakars year-long hard work and commitment towards social welfare activities especially for women and children empowerment proved laudable achievements and accomplishments.  Her selfless efforts in upbringing under privileged children and children from slum areas were praised by various Government Organizations and NGOs as well.  As International Educationist and Social Activist, Chameli Karmakar was nominated for the Stree Shakti Samman by IUEF and the award got conferred on 28th June 2020.  Chameli Karmakar is State Director Anti-corruption Maharashtra, State Head Schoolie Foundation, International Brand Ambassador of peace IMUT Brazil, President of Bhartiya Media Foundation Maharashtra Women Cell and a notable philanthropist with numerous awards and honours.
