The Fog - Poem by Muraly TV
The Fog
With open eyes, I see the fog
The fog that envelops the pines ahead
With close eyes even, I see the fog
The fog that envelopes my soul within
Autumn or winter, summer or monsoon
The fog envelopes my foggy mind
That lost in the fog years ago, on a foggy day!
Time melted down, the memories but never
As enveloped by the fog, frozen but warmer
Followed forever, fabulous but foggy
The fog formed a fairy, as fair as the fog
A fairy that shined in the sizzling sunlight
A fairy that smiled in the silent moonlight
A fairy that enthralled and enticed my heart
That lost in the fog years ago, on a foggy day!
Magical wand, her mysterious eyes
Touched my soul, soft and sweet
Mesmerizing she was, the fairy in the fog
Amidst the pines I lay as a slave
The fog formed a layer of love and craze
That melted down, oh, her passion so hot
Layers of snow beneath her body
Melted soon, with fairy I floated
And lost in the fog years ago, on a foggy day!
With open eyes, I see my fairy
With close eyes even, I see my fairy
Was she real, a dream or a whim?
The fog envelopes my foggy mind!!!
