Mother`s Heart - Poem by Muraly TV
Mother’s Heart
Silently sat; aimlessly walked
Silently sobbed; aimlessly watched
Sighs that echoed in the emptiness of her soul
Shattered thoughts with questions unanswered
Imprisoned she was, in the cell of her sorrows
Sorrows for many, unknown and helpless
‘Happy Mother’s Day’ squawk of her parrot
Patted her ears, so sweet and kind
Tears trickled from the eyes of her heart
Hidden for long, for the unknown and helpless
Corona victims, seen or heard
Hungry and thirsty with roof or roofless
Dead or half-dead, all in the grave
Alive but still have no ways to live
Lost in the household, she lost her heart
The golden heart for the unknown and helpless
‘Happy Mother’s Day’ or the call of her soul
Silently she walked with a mother’s heart
In search of the soul of Mother Earth
For the unknown and helpless under the sky
Food for food and not for thoughts
Eat to live and not to luxury
Crowd that cried just to survive
Screams and sobs just to live
Corona warriors flew like angels
With magic wands of love and care
Like an ambulance rushing to the battle filed
With sirens of hope, hopes of life
Warrior in her, Oh, awoke again
Ready to fight for love and care
‘Happy Mother’s Day’ the call of her soul
Smilingly she walked deep into the hearts
With a mother’s heart, golden and kind
Ready to break the barriers of her prison!!!
